A few other things too, but for this post, I will narrow it down to hair. summer hair is a totally different topic. like for real. it's the time of year when it's hot to look like you just woke up, or just frolicked on a beach. roots are awesome. especially if your hair is died blonde, and youv'e got some dark roots growing out. now I would normally be very sketchy about that, but it totally works with scrunched, messy hair. plus, it saves cash monies, and saves your hair. so that's great. find a fashion icon. mine is always always changing. right now i'm stuck in a hot mess between ke$ha and miley cyrus. i like to look over-all put together, especially since i normally spend 30 minutes choosing an outfit, summertime allows me to take a chill on my put-togetherness. so naturally, i want my hair to match the chilled look. it's got to look effortless, and yes, a bit messy. long beachy waves. long layers. let your bangs grow out. find colored real hair extentions. they'll spice things up. do a braid in your hair and leave it. but dont create too many rules for yourself. be fluid. like water. it's like, hey, i've got a braid in. i'm tight like jack sparrow. or ya know, the next week, its like, yo wassup, this yo girl shaniqua, my cornrows are tight! mix it up. wrap string around your hair. thats a great way to add some color if ya dont wanna go the extention route. string is cheap. head over to any craft store and just get some colors.
